Trusted Advisors for Developers and Investors for Some of the Large Renewable Assets

Lift PEAK Wind’s Finance Function

Based in our headquarters in Aarhus, you will join a small and agile team within Finance, Insurance & HR. You will report directly to PEAK Wind’s Finance Director and will contribute by bringing PEAK Wind’s internal Finance function to the next level. Here you will utilise your eye for detail and assume the primary responsibility for the daily bookkeeping. Your responsibilities will be broad, but will include:

  • Monthly invoicing, bookkeeping and accounting in e-conomic;
  • Handling payments, debtors and creditors;
  • Deposits and disbursements, including reconciliations of bank and balance accounts;
  • VAT & Tax settlement;
  • Monthly closures and preparation of material for reporting;
  • Execution of payroll for 40+ employees globally;
  • Improving and optimizing existing processes;

Experienced Accountant with Financial Insight

We are looking for someone that has suitable financial insight, combined with extensive practical experience. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years’ experience from similar roles, preferably from other professional service firms or the wind industry. As PEAK Wind is present internationally, we expect that you are able to communicate effectively in English and Danish, both written and verbally. You have an advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Office and experience with e-conomic or a similar program, is a clear advantage but not a requirement. However, with a learning mindset, you are eager to continually update your financial ‘toolbox’ and believe in continuous improvement.

We imagine that you are well-structured, have excellent listening skills, but firmly uphold key principles to ensure accurate and timely results. It is therefore also  important to you, to meet deadlines.  You are persistent, gather loose ends and always complete your tasks on time. Most importantly, you possess the right drive and want to be part of a company that is experiencing great growth.
