The partnership is a significant step in bringing large-scale green hydrogen plants into operation, combining expertise from the process and renewable energy sectors to create a best-in-class industry standard for the future.
The parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer asset and operations management of large-scale green hydrogen plants globally.
This collaboration unites two industry leaders with deep expertise in renewable energy, energy storage, green hydrogen, and large-scale project management to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy.
“With this partnership, clients can expect a comprehensive offering that combines PEAK Wind’s expertise in wind generation with BWSC’s experience in processing plants and green hydrogen,”
Michael Andersen, Founder and CEO of PEAK Wind Group
The EU aims to develop ten million tonnes of annual renewable hydrogen production capacity locally by 2030, while global demand for clean hydrogen is expected to exceed 500 million tonnes per year by 2050.
This presents significant potential for the partnership as both parties have a global presence and are already managing operating portfolios in core regions for green hydrogen development, including Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
“With this partnership, clients can expect a comprehensive offering that combines PEAK Wind’s expertise in wind generation with BWSC’s experience in processing plants and green hydrogen,” said Michael Andersen, Founder and CEO of PEAK Wind. “By providing a single point of contact for the client, we can deliver cohesive strategy, planning, asset management, technological advisory, and optimization for developers and investors globally. As a unique partnership in the industry, we will be able to offer operations and asset management services for large-scale hybrid plants, and through our combined offering, work to reduce the levelized cost of green hydrogen.”
