PEAK Wind is pleased to announce its role in supporting Andel during the acquisition of the Tryggevælde Solar Park from European Energy. The transaction, which was completed earlier this year, marks a significant milestone in the renewable energy sector.
PEAK Wind’s Due Diligence & Transactional Services team played an important role in facilitating a seamless acquisition process. PEAK Wind examined all technical documentation associated with the solar park, assessing design specifications, engineering details, and adherence to industry standards. Additionally, the team developed a detailed lifetime operating expenditure (OPEX) budget tailored for the solar park, providing guidance for effective cost management. PEAK Wind’s expertise ensured a clear understanding of the responsibilities and obligations outlined in existing operations and maintenance (O&M) service agreements. Lastly, an energy yield assessment was conducted, analyzing historical data, weather patterns, and other relevant factors to estimate the park’s energy production potential.
As part of the due diligence process, PEAK Wind experts visited the Tryggevælde Solar Park on-site. The purpose of this inspection was to verify the quality of the assets and assess any potential risks. The solar park, situated near Faxe, Denmark, covers an impressive area and boasts a capacity of 55 megawatts (MW).
The Tryggevælde Solar Park, commissioned in 2022, aligns with Andel’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions. By acquiring this solar asset, Andel strengthens its position in the renewable energy market and contributes to Denmark’s ambitious clean energy goals.
PEAK Wind remains dedicated to supporting companies like Andel in their pursuit of a greener future. As the renewable energy landscape continues to evolve, partnerships and acquisitions play a vital role in driving positive change.
